The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari will open up all financial Institutions, schools and also spiritual houses following the end of the second stage of lockdown if they adopt the new strategies under the COVID-19 era in line with the guidelines.

The SGF made this known during the day-to-day media rundown on Tuesday where he claimed that Buhari’s choice to prolong the relieved lockdown for an additional two weeks is to try curb the spread of COVID-19, before the economic environment is completely reopened.

Mustapha further revealed that the first stage of the relieved lockdown ran out on Monday, May 18 and Buhari has currently expanded it by an additional 2 weeks until June 1.
