Former Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara has declared his decamp from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
The announcement of the former speaker’s decamp was made today after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock today.
The Former Speaker under PDP had visited President Muhammadu Buhari with Governor of Yobe State, and Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee, H.E. Mai Mala Buni at the State House, Abuja this afternoon.
Yakubu Dogara declined to speak to the press on the major reason behind the Aso Rock visit, but Mai Buni told journalists that the former Speaker “is now a member of APC.”
