Information reaching us that about 11 pm yesterday Sunday 19th of November 2023, a group of unknown Armed thugs and rogue police officers led by one Sp Irikefe London Owen, a superintendent of police attached to the CTU B3 RSV and CSP Salihu Masalachi attacked the private residence of the factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Barr Edison Ogerenye Ehie.
Our correspondent gathered that the thugs and rogue Police Officers led by the two above-named police officers in the state were vehemently repelled in a serious gun battle by the official security personnel attached to the factional speaker, their aim and purpose was to assassinate the Speaker and his family.
It was revealed that the armed rogues and officers were captured by CCTV footage in the residence, which he promised would be made available to the media houses and International media outlets for record purposes
The factional Speaker will be addressing a World Press Conference today Monday 20th November, 2023.
