At the commissioning of the popular Akachi road in Owerri Imo state NIGERIA by the Senate President Ahmed Lawan, governor Hope Uzodinma has renamed Akachi road to Evan Enwerem Way.
9News Nigeria reveals that this is inline with his 3R mantra policy to give the state the best of service before handing over to a successor at the end of his tenure.
Recall that Akachi road was created by former governor of Imo state now senator of the federal republic of NIGERIA, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The commissioning is ongoing at the time of this report while the Senate President has commended governor Uzodinma for his doggedness invested to put good roads in Imo.
However, the governor has assured Ndi Imo of his resolve to change the narrative of governance to bring the democratic dividends at their door steps.
He futher promised to continue in the construction and reconstruction of roads to Improve Imo state.
