Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers attacked a bullion van in Ondo.
According to reports, the robbery took place at Emure-Ile junction, Owo LGA of Ondo state.
It was gathered that the bullion van belonged to a commercial bank in Owo.
With details of the attack still sketchy, the notorious robbers were said to have carried out the attack while the bullion van was on motion.
Ondo police spokesman, DSP Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the attack, said the robbers did not succeed in carting away any money.
Odunlami said the injured policeman was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
