A yet-to-be identified thugs have reportedly attacked the Peoples Democratic party’s (PDP) Presidential candidate for the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar, 9news Nigeria reports.
This was disclosed by Otaigbe Imadegbelo one of his supporters on Twitter.
According to Otaigbe, APC thugs are the ones behind the attack.
He wrote “Atiku’s convoy attacked in Maiduguri by APC thugs .. No amount of that drug baron thugs will stop our rally in Borno today.”
As at the time of filing this report, Atiku is yet to make any statement concerning this development but he is billed to hold a rally today in Borno state.
