A Conferment Of “ICON OF PEACE AWARD” Presented By Lima Television In Collaboration With Actors Guild Of Nigeria (AGN), Nollywood Movie Stars, Rivers State Chapter On His Royal Highness, Eze Professor Samuel Nnadi Wekhe, The Paramount Ruler/ Nyenweali, Igwuruta kingdom.
The CEO LIMA TELEVISION NETWORK, Mrs Princess Jetiba Soberekon (JP), a princess of Kalabari Kingdom & a Nollywood Actress in accompany of The Nollywood Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Rivers State chapter led by the chairman Emeritus, Mr Bartholomew Gerald Aguugo conferred an award of honor on the HRH of Igwuruta after making a critical findings that his one of the most peace loving King in Ikwerre LGA & Rivers State at large.
During the speech by Mrs Princess Jetiba Soberekon, CEO LIMA TELEVISION, from her findings said that; Igwuruta is one of the most peaceful community to stay & do business in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State. She went further to express her satisfaction on the HRH of Igwuruta haven given the room for peaceful co – existence amongst his subjects & residents of the community for a long period of time.
The chairman of the Nollywood Actors under the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter, Mr Bartholomew Gerald Aguugo express happiness to have come in contact with the HRH of Igwuruta since three years ago on their film shooting movements in Igwuruta. He went further to thank the HRH for allowing peace to be the watchward of his administration.
The chairman also remembered the cabinets, that they were here some years back to organize a successful BEAUTY PEAGENT of the Igwuruta Queens as a mark of Igwuruta Day usually Celebrated in every December.
The chairman AGN therefore deemed it necessary to Award the HRH of Igwuruta with the award of an ‘Icon Of Peace Award’ in order to inspire him to greater heights & also to motivate other Royal Fathers to toe the line of peace in their various communities across the state at large.
While thanking the Film Industry & Lima Television, the HRH, Eze Prof S.N Wekhe, the Paramount Ruler/ Nyenweali Igwuruta shows an alloyed appreciation for the honor given on him as one of the best Icon Of Peace Award in Ikwerre LGA & Rivers State.
The chairman Igwuruta Traditional Rulers & Chiefs, High Chief Amb Ernest Wosu (JP) who spoke on behalf of the cabinet members in view appreciated them for the gesture bestowed on the HRH for painstakingly holding & allowing himself as a peace broker after twenty five (25) years of tussle over with the dissident groups who have finally come together as one indivisible entity as cabinet members to the HRH in a one Peace Accord.
Highlight of the event was also covered by the chief-editor South – South Zone of the 9news Nigeria, Amb Emmalex Atseyinku David who granted an interactive session during an interview with the duo’s.
