BY PRINCELY ONYENWE, IMO
An FCT High Court presided by Hon. Valentine Origi has declined the injunction filed to stop the Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State.
However, our correspondent reports that senator Rochas Okorocha had approached the FCT High Court seeking an injunction to the APC Congress slated to begin this Saturday 31st July 2021.
This Okorocha’s moves to stop the congress was said to be an action in proxy via one Okay Anikwa.
Meanwhile, by this Judgment, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State has been given clearance to progress with the Congress as scheduled.
Recall that other states have commenced the same congress to key into the INEC Scheduled 2023 election timetable and Imo state will start hers as the court has struck out the moves to stop the congress.
Congratulations to IMO APC.
