The members of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) have concluded plans to protest against Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently in New York to participate in the 73rd Session of United Nations General Assembly.
According to a source that craved for anonymity revealed to 9News Nigeria that IPOB members gathered forces to protest against Nigeria President, including the South-East Governors for the roles they played in the Disappearances of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
9News Nigeria reported that a delegation of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by its Deputy Leader, Uche Mefor, had met with United Nations (UN) officials over killings of its members in the Southeast zone of Nigeria.The Mefor-led delegation visited the UN headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland on September 14, the same day Biafrans remembered the victims of the invasion of the home of IPOB leader at Isiama Afaraukwu, Umuahia, Abia State, with a sit-at-home protest.
