The Hyena which escaped on Monday from the Jos Wildlife Park has been found and captured.
The Management of Plateau State Tourism Corporation has confirmed this information on Tuesday.
According to the report issued by the General Manager, Plateau State Tourism Corporation, Hon. Chuwang Pwajok, stated that, “After relentless search and rescue efforts, the missing Hyena which escaped on Monday, 8th July 2024 has finally been found, tranquilized, captured and safely returned to its cage.
“We deeply appreciate the general public for remaining calm and cooperative”
“This greatly assisted in the search and rescue of the animal”, the statement further reads.
