Nine Coronavirus patients have been discharged from the Lagos State isolation centre, the state government has said.
Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, made this known in a series of tweets via his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Abayomi said the patients were discharged after testing negative for COVID-19 twice. He added that four of the recovered patients are male, while five others are female.
He said the total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos now stands at 438.
The commissioner added that five patients of the 59 reported COVID-19 cases in the state have been transferred to Ogun state, adding that the total number of transferred cases is now eight.
He wrote: “59 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 21, 2020.
“Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos now stands at 438.
“5 of the cases previously reported in Lagos state have been transferred to Ogun state.
