9news Nigeria reports that doctors have raised concern about Queen Elizabeth’s health. Due to the uncertainty, many are eager to know the condition of the Queen which has led to “Is Queen Elizabeth dead” trending on the internet.
This online news platform understands that Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II’s health has deteriorated in recent days, requiring her to be placed under medical supervision after doctors were “concerned” about her health.
The 96-year-old has not been hospitalised and will remain at her Balmoral Castle estate where she spent her summer. Her son and heir Prince Charles has already arrived at the site, while his eldest son, Prince William, is thought to be travelling to Balmoral too.
“Following further evaluation this morning, the queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision,” the statement read.

The eldest child, Prince Charles, is next in line for the throne and would technically become the monarch the very second the Queen passes away.
However, there is a more convoluted process to getting the message out and announcing details of the succession.

The Queen’s senior doctor Sir Huw Thomas will oversee the final hours, during which she will likely be visited by close family and friends. He will control access to the room and decide what information is made public and which details should remain private.
The title of monarch is one which is passed down to the eldest heir and the transition technically occurs the second that the previous monarch dies. When it happens, Charles will become king and his siblings will kiss his hand to pledge their allegiance to him.

Beyond the immediate family, news of the Queen’s passing will begin with her private secretary, Sir Christopher Geidt. The former diplomat received a second knighthood in 2014, in part for his role in planning Elizabeth II’s succession, and it will be his duty to inform the Prime Minister, Liz Truss.

The Queen, who is 96 years old, has been put under medical supervision after doctors became concerned about her health.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
All her four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, are either with her or making their way to Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince William are all travelling to Balmoral to be with her. The Duchess of Cambridge has remained in Windsor as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are in school.
Harry and Meghan, who were coincidentally in the UK for a number of engagements, are also travelling to Balmoral.
Expressions of concern have been flooding in. The prime minister, Liz Truss, said: “The whole country will be deeply concerned.” The archbishop of Canterbury said his “prayers and the prayers of the people across the Church of England and the nation” were with Her Majesty.
Concerns about the Queen’s health emerged in October when she cancelled a trip to Northern Ireland. Her mobility has prevented her attended some events this year and she continues to use a walking stick.
Although she met Boris Johnson and Liz Truss on Tuesday, they travelled to Balmoral in a break with the tradition of meeting outgoing and incoming prime ministers at Buckingham Palace.
She also pulled out of an online meeting of the privy council on Wednesday after being advised by doctors to rest.
