An accident involving several vehicles occurred this morning (Thursday, 14th May, 2020) along Asaba-Onitsha Expressway. Opposite Abraka Market.
According to eyewitness accounts, some buses and taxis were picking passengers at the Okwe General Hospital Junction, when some officials of Delta State Traffic Agency blocked the road leading to an estate opposite former Immigration Office, thus creating a traffic gridlock.
A trailer rammed into some of the vehicles caught up in the gridlock and the ones picking passengers.
The accident left many people injured. The victims were taken to undisclosd hospitals.
