Imo will be agog with the newest trend of street painting called Ife painting alongside music, fun and photography.

This is a capacity empowerment and value oriented project initiated by HOOD FOR GOOD a subsidiary of Universal kamp which is affiliated to Franque Fire Art and Crafts Enterprise.

Speaking with 9News Nigeria in Owerri, the Project Director, Francis Chimeremeze Njoku, a student of project management Federal University of Technology FUTO, hinted that the vision of this project is to see a society where humanity comes first at heart to care for one another and our environment. He added that he is a social artist that relate to those cultural values which the people and government have long neglected, to pass a message of love, joy, peace and hope to the Nigerian and African community that goodness comes before greatness.

He however stated that value is above people making profit and self seeking gains but reassured the government that there is life in social art work with hood for good showcasing their programs all over the states of the federation starting from Imo state.

He had earlier stated that HOOD FOR GOOD will Kick off with making the people understand the core values, which include being good to ourselves as a people in the society, the way we live, how we interact, connect and help one another.

Also to showcase its benefits to our environment by being conscious of our surrounding our communities.

Mr Francis Njoku stated that his year program is tagged “ROAD TO GOODNESS” and its targeted at painting the streets of Imo state to create a live painting starting from designated areas like world bank road, new owerri axis, city ring roads and Imo environment. The roadshow will come up on thursday October 29-2020 at world bank round about Imo state.

This group is soliciting for sponsorship and partnership with the government to establish a people’s dream and vision for a better surrounding, environment and state at large.

Other events will follow up by December as scheduled by the group. Note that universal camp UKAMP is over 7years old while Hood for Good was launched in December 2019.
