Executive Secretary, ES of the PENSION TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENT DIRECTORATE, (PTAD), Dr Chioma Ejikeme, has confirmed the acknowledgement of £26,505,862,97, twenty-six million, five hundred and five thousand, eight hundred and sixty- two pounds, ninety- seven pence REPATRIATED from the United Kingdom.

9News Nigeria reports that the pension funds had hitherto been under investments with crown agents Investment Management limited, CAIML, united kingdom, UK.

Dr Chioma however assured that this is a good Development and welcome Development for the senior citizens. She added that this was made possible through PRESIDENT BUHARI’S Administration which represents another demonstration of the importance the federal government places on the welfare of NIGERIA PENSIONERS.

Meanwhile, the ES DR CHIOMA, maintained that the funds would be used to settle part of the accrued arrears owed to it’s PENSIONERS worth over N120 Billion only.

This Development will no doubt put smiles on the faces of pensioners all over the federation. But on the contrary, if the funds are mis- managed by Government agents in this department, the worst will come upon the PENSIONERS. PTAD is therefore charged to share this money accordingly to spice the condition of pensioners.
