The GMD of NNPC Ltd, Mr Mele Kyari, has offered some relief to Nigeria’s airline operators as he announced the reduction in the price of aviation fuel from N670 to N500. He made the concession after the operators said they would ground their planes over the high cost of aviation fuel.
9News Nigeria had reported that Air peace, Ibom Air and other local airlines had threatened to stop operations in 3 days due to scarcity and the soaring cost of aviation fuel in the country.
