It was indeed a sad moment for the Unongo’s Family and the entire Benue State over the demise of Mama Vicky Unongo.
Vicky is the first wife of the 2nd Republican Minister Paul Unongo.The sad incident occurred after a brief illness.
In a later of condolencecondolence sent to the family by the Benue State Government.
The letter reads:
GOV ORTOM CONSOLES PAUL UNONGO OVER WIFE’S DEATH
Governor Samuel Ortom, on behalf of the government and people of Benue State, commiserates with elder statesman, Wantaregh Paul Unongo over the death of his wife, Mrs. Victoria Unongo.
The Governor says the late Mrs Unongo was a mother to all and was a great woman who upheld good values and supported the less privileged in the society.
He states that her death is not only a huge loss to the Unongo Kwaghngise family but also to Benue State and the country in general.
Governor Ortom consoles the Second Republic Minister and former Chairman, Northern Elders Forum, Wantaregh Unongo and encourages him to take solace in the fact that his wife impacted positively on the lives of many.
The Governor prays God to grant the deceased eternal rest and her family the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
