Presents First woman PDP State Secretary ahead of Anambra PDP State Congress.
The Anambra South PDP Zonal Executive met earlier today Friday 1st April, 2022 at CD195 VIP Lounge, Nnewi to discuss total consensus list ahead of the state Congress slated for tomorrow April 2nd, 2022.
The Convener of the meeting & Acting Chairman of PDP Anambra South, Chief J. J. Malizu in his opening remarks said that the reason for the Zonal Executive Committee meeting today is to elect officers into positions basketed to Anambra south for the state congress coming up supposedly tomorrow.
Chief Malizu went further to state that he took precedence from other zones who had achieved a total consensus into applying same.
Stating that he would be very happy if the various local government Chairmen and leaders had adopted various candidates that should be presented in todays meeting, he said.
Reacting to the chairman’s remark, Prince Samben Nwosu a former state officer of the party appreciated the Acting Chairman for such a concerted effort in getting things right for the senatorial district, supporting that Anambra South PDP should have a consensus list for tomorrow’s state congress with a United list of her candidates.
Onwenu Okoye PDP secretary, Ekwusigo LGA moved a motion in support of the Anambra South consensus agenda and was seconded by Hon.Chimezeie Nwanonyelum chairman PDP Ihiala LGA.

The house equally adopted the swapping of party offices done between Ekwusigo and Orumba South which includes Asst. Youth leader from Ekwusigo to Orumba South and Asst. Legal Adviser from Orumba South to Ekwusigo.
Chief Ken Emekayi advised that LGAs should defend the Anambra South zonal executives position and consensus candidate which have been adopted today to the last and In the same vein advised the acting Chairman Chief J.J Malizu and Ichie Fred O. Udensi, Acting Secretary to write an official thank you letter to Chief Olisa Metuh for his kind gestures and seeing to the successfull conclusion of Anambra PDP LGA’s and Ward Congresses respectively.
The meeting ended with lots of refreshments and happinesses from the zonal executives present and in turn witnessed the vowing to punish whoever that defaults today’s gentleman agreement between various LGAs in Nnewi.
