Report coming in from Oshogbo, the Osun state capital say PDP supporters have started a violent protest following the announcement of results from Oshogbo LGA.

Before the release of Oshogbo results, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate, Adeleke was leading with a slim margin from the results of 29 LGAs earlier announced.

The PDP supporters started the protest after INEC announced 23,379 votes for APC ahead of PDP’s 14,499 (7000 votes in favour of APC), alleging that INEC manipulated the results in favour of the ruling party.

Some of the PDP supporters were seen shading tears lamenting that APC has rigged the election against their candidate.

At the time of filing this report, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to announce the winner of the 2018 Osun State governorship election.
