Former Plateau State Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Gwanle Tyoden is dead.
He served as the state number two citizen during the eight-year administration of Governor Simon Bako Lalong between 2015 -2023 under the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Born on September 2, 1950, the Nigerian Professor of Political Science, was also one-time Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, between June 12, 2006 and June 11 2011.
He died at the age of 74.
As at the time of filing this report, 9News Nigeria correspondent could not independently confirm the cause of his death.
