Information reaching us indicates that President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR has endorsed the candidacy of Chief (Dr.) George N. Moghalu as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Anambra State Gubernatorial elections.

Moghalu is a former National Secretary and National Vice Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and one of the oldest allies of Mr President in the South East.

Sources at the villa have informed us that the President has directed the national and state leaders of the party to throw their support behind Moghalu to win the party’s primary scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th June 2022.

Chief (Dr.) George N. Moghalu is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). He is a former National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress who served for two terms in that office before he was appointed as the NIWA helmsman.
