BREAKING: Police Secretly Arrests Rivers House Member, Loyal To Gov Fubara At PDP NEC Meeting Venue In Abuja

The ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, taking place in Abuja has just taken a dangerous turn on Thursday, when Ikwerre local government Chairman, Engr Samuel Nwanosike, a supporter of FCT Minister masterminded the arrest of the member representing Ahoada-West State constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Sokari Goodboy Sokari and a Rivers youth, Mr. Ezebunwo Ichemati.

The arrest which was effected at the Wadata Plaza venue of the ongoing NEC meeting of the party, is intended to intimidate supporters of the governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.

It is learned that Nwanosike targeted the duo at the venue by using his Police orderlies to harass and intimidate them before they were later whisked away by the Nigerian Police. This is the sequel to the instruction given to Nwanosike and other Rivers Council chairmen loyal to the FCT Minister to intimidate and arrest supporters of Governor Fubara in Abuja.

At the time of filling this report, our correspondent called the number of the Assembly member, but his phone number was switched off.
