Rapper PnB Rock Shot Dead At A Los Angeles Restaurant After His Girlfriend Shared Their Location On Instagram.
American rapper, Rakim Allen, better known as PnB Rock, is dead.
He was shot dead during a robbery at a restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, September 12.
The 30-year-old Philadelphia rapper had been at the restaurant with his girlfriend, who had posted a location-tagged photo in a since-deleted Instagram post.
Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz in a statement to newsmen said a suspect brandished a firearm inside the restaurant and demanded items from the victim.
The Times reports that Rock was targeted for his jewelry. The victim was shot almost immediately by the a§§ailant during the robbery, Muniz said.
“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” she said. Adding that the victim was taken to a hospital and pronounced de@d at 1:59 p.m.
This comes barely two weeks after the rapper spoke during an interview about the brazen robbery attempts in Los Angeles and how rappers like him are being seen as targets for robberies.
