An Associate Professor of Surgery and Consultant Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon, Medical Director of Emory hospital, and former Chairman, MDCAN, BSUTH, MKD,Prof. Daniel D. Mue, Wednesday slumped and died instantly.
9News Nigeria gathered on Wednesday that,Prof had performed a surgery on one of his patient and was out of the theatre when he suddenly collapsed and was confirmed dead at Benue State University Teaching Hospital {BSUTH} Makurdi.
In a statement issued by Dr.Mark Agbo, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) also confirmed the shocking news.
Dr.Agbo describe his death as tragic, shocking and encourages all to reach out to the family at this time of grief.
In his words,”this is, indeed, a great loss to NMA Benue and the country at large”.
Prof.Mue is one of the leading consultant in Makurdi,Benue and he is always proactive in carrying out his duties as a consultant Orthopedic.Loosing him at this time is a very big gap created in the Medical profession.
