BREAKING: Private Refinery In Imo State Begins Operation, Produces 600m Liters Of Fuel Daily

The Federal Government has commended a modular refinery, owned by Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited for commencement of Production to the tune of over 600 million litres of various products and dispatching 20 trucks daily.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Heineken Lokpobiri, made the Commendation while Inspecting the Waltersmith Modular Refinery in Imo State and praising the Facility for supporting efforts to meet energy needs in the country.

The minister noted that modular refineries are the shortest way to address Nigeria’s energy problems, as the state-owned refineries are still under rehabilitation.

He added that he is determined to ensure more modular refineries are working.
