A bill for a law to repeal the Imo state marketing agency Edict No 11 of 1986 and enact a law to establish the Imo state marketing and commodities board that will be reasonable for the Procurement, Distribution and Marketing of commodities in the twenty seven (27) LGAs of Imo state.
For the purpose of lowering and stabilizing of the said commodities and for other related matters (Second Reading).- Majority Leader IMHA Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi.
By the actualisation of this bill, at a repeal, will help the entire state to have a regulated market price across board.
There will definitely be fixed prices and regulation of prices of commodities in Imo market as to be repealed by the 10th House IMHA.
It is worrisome coming to oil and gas and Petroluem products selling at different prices in the same state.
No doubt this bill will definitely help along way Imolites to enjoy a regulated price of Commodities and distribution in Imo state.
The legislature representing owerri West who doubles as the majority Leader IMHA Kanayo Onyemaechi has done good to bring this bill onboard and Imolites will be proud to enjoy its dividends.
The bill went for second reading and hopefully will have a speedy hearing and the hit of the gavel.
