Angry residents of Akwa Ibom Community have taken to the streets to protest alleged invasion of their lands by Fulani Herdsmen, 9news Nigeria reports.
9news Nigeria reports that the protesters are accusing the herdsmen of destroying crops in their farmlands.
The protesters are currently at the Ikono Local Government Council secretariat, in Ibiaku Ntok Okpo area of the state.
Authorities are yet to address the residents as at press time.
