Rt. Hon. (Dr) Enyiada Cookey-Gam, Chairmanship candidate for Action People’s Party(APP) has been declared winner of the just Concluded LGA Chairmanship Election in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area,Today 5th October 2024.
Also, Ward 1 to ward 11 councilorship candidates of the APP have also been announced winners of the councillorship elections in Opobo/Nkoro LGA.
9News Nigeria had reported that the ongoing local government elections in Rivers State descended into chaos, with heavy gunfire erupting in the Rumuepirikom community, hometown of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike.
Wike is yet to react over the ugly development as at the time of filing this report.
