Senator representing Anambra North and former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah has finally defected from the People’s Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress party, 9News Nigeria has learnt.
The announcement of her defection was made in the presence of the caretaker national chairman of the party, Mai Mala Buni, chairman APC Anambra Campaign Council and Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, and the APC governorship candidate for Anambra election, Andy Uba.
A close source disclosed to 9News Nigeria Awka correspondent that the defection which happened just a few months to Anambra State 2021 governorship election, may not be unconnected to the bid to be Andy Uba’s running mate in the upcoming election.
