

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assented to the North Central Development Commission, NCDC, Bill 2024.
The President if the Nigerian Senate Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, announced on Tuesday during plenary.
The Bill seeks to strengthen the economy and infrastructural development in the North-Central geopolitical zone.
Rep. Jeremiah Umaru who sponsored the Bill at the House of Representatives had recommended Lafia, Nasarawa State for the sitting of the Commission’s Headquarters.
The State’s in the North-Central region are; Kogi, Niger, Benue, Kwara, Plateau, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
