2023: Meet The Top 6 PDP Politicians Whose Presidential Campaign Posters Has Surfaced On Internet.

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, the Race for the PDP Presidential Ticket has commenced in earnest as Prominent Politicians in the opposition party are already making moves to wrestle power from the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Even though some of these Politicians are yet to publicly declear their Presidential ambition, Their Campaign Posters have been circulating on internet, Notable among them are

  1. Peter Ayodele Fayose.
  2. Fayose, 60 is the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State. He is widely known for his Criticism against the APC Administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari. Fayose governed Ekiti State from May 2003 – October 2006 and October 2014 – October 2018. The Afao-ekiti indigene ran unsuccessfully for Senate in 2011 on the Ticket of Labour Party (LP).
  1. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

Abubakar, 74 was the 2019 PDP Presidential Candidate, The Adamawa State-born Politician served as Vice-president from 1999 to 2007 during the Administration of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Atiku, serial Presidential Aspirant is currently making his fifth attempt to become President.

  1. Peter Obi

Obi, 59 was the 2019 Vice-presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Obi, a Banker turned Politician was the Youngest Chairman of Fidelity Bank. The Onitsha-born Politician served as Governor of Anambra State between March 2006 and March 2014.

  1. Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal

Tambuwal, 55 is a Lawyer and Politician who currently serves as Governor of Sokoto State. He is also the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDPGF). Tambuwal who served in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015 was the Speaker during the 7th House of Representatives (2011 – 2015).

  1. Barr. Nyesom Wike

Wike, 57 is a Lawyer and Politician who is the incumbent Governor of Rivers State. The Ikwerre indigene assumed Office in May 2015. Wike was a Two-term Chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State and later served as Chief of Staff during the First-term Tenure of Ex-governor Rotimi Amaechi. Between 2011 and 2014, Wike was the Minister of State for Education.

  1. Senator Dino Melaye

Melaye, 47 was a 2019 PDP Governorship Aspirant in Kogi State and the immediate past Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate. Just like Fayose, The Outspoken Dino Melaye is also a well-known Critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Administration. The Aiyetoro-Gbede born Politician was a One-time Member of the House of Representatives where he represented Kabba/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
