In a shocking Scenario,a suspected black cat yesterday in the afternoon attacks a little child and the “Nani” at Mbatiav,Akpagher,Gboko Local government area of Benue State.
The Cat was seen dragging the baby with her Nani,it took the intervention of neighbors to kill the cat and rescue the child and her Nani.
Speaking to 9News Nigeria Correspondence a source from the village stated,if not for the shouts and cries of the Nani the baby would have been long gone,but we thank God that some of us were around to rescue the baby from the hands of this evil cat.
” To my surprise the black cat came in broad daylight, when the our village was very quiet,it took the intervention of myself and several other villagers to finish the cat.
“It’s high time we step up securing our villages against some of this evil, this cat is completely an evil cat,and I suspect another attempt will still be made by this same people,but by tomorrow we will summon all our local chiefs,Youth, Women to come and tell us why cats have suddenly become thieves, stealing our children”.
Akpagher is next to Akwarra,Close to Gboko and is located in Benue.
