A sad day for the Nigerian Police force as Unknown Gunmen raze their station killing four persons as confirmed by the Enugu state Police command,while its Divisional Headquarters at Iwollo, Ezeagu Local Government Area (LGA) of the state was razed by fire during an attack by gunmen.
9News Nigeria gathered that,the attackers came in their numbers and set the division station ablaze and Police Officers who tried to repel them were gunned down as others sustained various degrees of injuries.
confirming the incident,the Enugu state police spokesman,officer Daniels Ndukwe said a manhunt has already begin in other to bring the perpetrators to book.
Officer Ndukwe, also appeal to the general public to provide the Police with useful information that will help in tracking down the Criminals.He noted that the hoodlums who are Unknown stormed the station at about 0400hrs on Tuesday morning, and opened fire on the police operatives who were on duty Killing four.
