The incident that occurred on the 20th of October that involved Benue State University prospective Corp members who were traveling to their various posted camps that got kidnapped has some flavour of good news as Terlumun has just escaped to a nearby police station.
This happened yesterday 24th October when he shiftly left the place where the kidnappers held him bound alive by the grace of God for safety into a police station.
An unknown source from his department affirmed that, “God has done what no man can do”.
He said this out of joy that flows from the expectation of his fellow students as they all return the glory onto God.
“Hallelujah, my course mate by name, Yeye Terlumun Madidi who was kidnapped while on transit to Sokoto for his mandatory NYSC orientation course has finally and miraculously regained freedom”, he said.
“He has graciously escaped and was taken to the police station by a certain man who assisted him to get to police station to give statement and thereafter to the orientation camp where the NYSC officials too have given him direct registration and documentation to participate in the camp after due interrogation.
He continued, “We spoke lengthily on phone and he explained everything to me while emphatically remaining grateful to God for the miracle over his life.

This unlawful act by the kidnappers raised fear in the minds of travellers across the country as no one is able to disparate the security situation in the country.
We must also remember to pray for the security of the nation as well as perpetrators of criminal act to have a second thought deviant from such activities and embrace oneness and unity for the growth and peaceful coexistence of the nation.
