Senator Stephen Odey who recently lost his seat in the Nigerian Senate to Jarigbe Agom, at the weekend defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on whose ticket he was elected to the Senate is a colony of robbers.
“I was the one talking PDP here but now I’m gone from the party and as such the party is completely dead.
The claim that PDP is in our blood is false. In whose blood are they talking about? The party whom you voted me for as Senator and those rubbers gagged up and took it – come 2023 we will show them pepper.”
” My style is to work for my people, and if anyone thinks that by not being in the senate i am finished, such persons should watch and see how i am going to work for my people.”
