Not Fewer than Six People were killed on Tuesday by armed militia following the invasion of Tse-Gurgur,Mbahav,Mchihi Council ward, Katsina-Ala Local government area of Benue State.
9News Nigeria gathered that,those killed were members of the community and innocent farmers.
Speaking at the scene of the sad incident, Hon. Shaku Justine, Caretaker chairman Katsina-Ala local government area, sympathized with the people of Mbahav, particularly the affected families and prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the sudden demise of their loved ones.
He assured them of peace in the area, saying;”I am working assiduously to put an end to the killings”.
Those present were Hon. Jonathan Agbidye, member representing Katsina-Ala East State Constituency, Hon Damkwagh Iorver, Deputy Chairman Katsina-Ala local government council among others.
