The wife of a prominent Benin politician, Mrs Queen Igbinevbo, has been raped and murdered in her house after some intruders who came searching for her husband decided to take it out on her.

She was pregnant and was alone at her home when the intruders, who gained entry through the ceiling came calling.

Her husband, Comrade Promise Igbinevbo, is a campaign coordinator for one of the aspirants gunning for his party’s governorship ticket in the Edo state 2020 elections.

Queen, who lived alone, was found naked with blood all over her body by her neighbours who were worried that they had not seen her in a while.

“When we could not see Queen, I came to check if she was fine, because she lives alone, we met her naked, blood and foam was coming out of her mouth. There was semen all over her body, one of them said.
