Former presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina is saying that his former principal, Muhammadu Buhari could have been long dead If he had used Nigerian hospitals.
Adesina who spoke during an interview for Buhari’s burial on Tuesday says those who criticized the death of Buhari in a London hospital should understand the former President had always used London hospitals before he was elected in May 2015.
He says the UK doctors were already familiar with Buhari’s medical history and there was no need to change them, adding that some Nigerian hospitals lacked the facilities and expertise needed for the ex-president’s treatment.
The former President died on Sunday in a London Clinic.
