Buhari’s visit to Germany has no link to Rumour of Dangote’s death

There have been rumours that the Nigerian President’s recent visit to Germany may not be unconnected to the issues regarding news broken by a German newspaper dw-tv3.com which said that the Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote was dead.

The rumour has it that the president who is also well connected to the Africa’s richest man may have gone to Germany in connection to the rumour which was debunked by the immediate announcement on twitter by Dangote himself who declared that He was hale and hearty.

Aliko Dangote dead news shook the business community. There have been rumors that circulated regarding the death of the Nigerian billionaire. The rumors claim that the head of the Dangote Group died of a swift illness.

Dangote was born on April 10, 1957. He belongs to a prominent family who is known to the business community. Dangote carved his way to success and has a family business called the Dangote Group. The Dangote Group started as a small trading firm in 1977 which expanded to a multi-trillion conglomerate. His business deals with cement manufacturing, freight services, and food processing.

In 2013, he became the 30th richest person in the world. Dangote was also hailed in 2014 as African of the Year by Forbes. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan awarded him with the country’s second highest honor, which is the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger. Despite his massive wealth, Dangote has a good heart. He donated 150 million Naira to stop the widespread of Ebola.

Not only did the news reach Africa, it reached the billionaire as well. The Nigerian billionaire quickly debunked the news and let the public know that the report was a hoax. Dangote took the matter to Twitter and stated that he is alive and well. He asked the public to disregard the malicious report on his death. As of the moment, Dangote’s lawyers are preparing legal grounds to sue the German site that reported about his alleged death.
