Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface made an instant impact in his Werder Bremen debut, coming off the bench to register an assist in the 4:0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach in Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old forward, who join Bremen on loan from Bayern Leverkusen after a deadline-day move to AC Milan collapsed, showed flashes of his quality despite an injury-trouble last season.

Werder Bremen struck early through Samuel Mbangula, with Jens Stage doubling the lead before halftime.
Romano Schmid converted a secind-half penalty to make it three before Boniface, introduced by coach Horst Steffen, set up Justin Njinmah for the final goal just six minutes after coming on.
Fellow Nigerian defender Felix Agu also featured as Bremen secured their first win of the season, climbing to ninth on the Bundesliga table.
With energetic display and attacking contribution, the Super Eagles striker has given Bremen fans plenty of reasons to be excited about his loan spell.
