Grammy-award winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, lost every one of his seven nominations for the 2023 BET Awards.
He was up for awards in the following categories: “Best Live Performer,” “Lyricist of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” “Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year,” “Best Hip-Hop Video,” and “Hustler of the Year.”
The award gala took place on October 3, 2023, in Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center.
