The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has confirmed that Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 will be held from June 19 to July 18, 2027.
Motsepe dismissed rumours suggesting the tournament would be moved to 2028, reaffirming that preparations remain on schedule.

The competition will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda., marking the first time the three East African nations will co-host Africa’s biggest football tournament.
CAF said preparations are ongoing across the host countries to ensure successful delivery of the continental event.
