🟢 Communities plan tough for petition, protest, charged Imo Traditional Rulers Council to call for town hall meeting.

A serious call has gone to the government and security agencies in Imo state to as a matter of urgency step to action to unravel the mascuraders of criminal activities, abductions and killings going on in the state.

Orlu and Okigwe area have seem to have calmed down but presently the Owerri zone is a red point of skimming by these hoodlums as our correspondent reports.

Several reports are made to checkmate the herders and their allies who engage in several crimes in the name of cow rearing. Such Seth have also been alleged of the evasion going on in Nekede, Ihiagwa Avu Obinze Oforola Umuokani Ngor Okpala Egbu Naze areas.

Our reporters spotted an influx of Hausa Fulani people on the 1st of February at Avu Junction Port Harcourt road Owerri Imo state Nigeria close to the New National Human Rights Commission’s precisely located at new Owerri axis discharging all sorts of dogs and weapons.

This is the same area decomposing bodies of unidentified persons were discovered penultimate week.

It was reported that suspected Hausa/Fulani stranger elements with their arms, ammunition, charms and dogs numbering not less than 100 were dropped off by busses within this area on the said date mentioned.

Their mission and intention are yet to be explained at the time of this post. While investigation is going on to unravel their core mission and that of the health status of those local breed (Ekuke) dogs, security agencies should be alerted.

This is happening few days after the state command stormed the Okohia forest where some arrests was made and decomposing corpse exhumed for examination by police.

Some persons living within the New Owerri axis were these infiltrators was spotted told our correspondent that the Fulani herders have taken that zone as easy way to perpetuate their crime alongside other criminal intent faces likely to be non Hausas.

The people have wondered why the police check points are busy disturbing bus drivers and privates on tips (Egunje), crime prone has kept increasing without robust action to burst crime zones in Imo state.

Recall that it was Orlu area but surprisingly the Owerri zone is gradually taking turns and the security architecture of the state does as if all is well. There’s need for more drastic actions by the law enforcement agents in the state.

The Owerri West, Naze, Ngor Okpala, Egbu, Nekede Ihiagwa Avu Obinze Oforola Umuokani axis are not safe as we gathered. The video of the dogs arrested is trending on social media.

However, when the state of insecurity continues to be high and the representatives are keeping cold feat , such situation could lead to recalling such government officials for serious questioning.

While speaking with some Community leaders in Owerri, “We have the red chamber, the green chamber and the state house. These are Honourable government officials expected to call for 🆘, Community leaders frowned.

Reliable sources from the communities affected told our correspondents their resolve and tough plans for petitioning and protest while charging Imo Traditional Rulers council to call for town hall meeting before the situation gets out of hand.

The local vigilante group, neighbourhood watch, street guards, Hunters etc are supposedly mobilized with work equipments and maximum support by providing their security needs as soon as possible for proper vigilante actions and combing of our localities and bushes.
