As the 2019 African Cup of Nations enters its second round of matches, all competing teams would be hoping for nothing short of a win to increase their chances of qualifying for the quarter finals.

In today’s matches, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be facing a tough test against the Syli National of Guinea. After an unimpressive 1-0 win against Burundi in their first match, the Nigeria team know that a better performance today will help their course to qualify top in Group B. Liverpool Midfielder and Guinea’s star player, Naby Keita, who played for just 28 minutes in their last match against Madagascar, will be fully fit for today’s encounter. It will be a needed boost for the Guineans who also seek for their first win in the tournament.

In the other games of today, The Cranes of Uganda will be hoping to make it two straight wins when they face The Warriors of Zimbabwe in a crucial must-win game for both sides. Uganda are top of Group A after their impressive 2-0 in their first match against DR Congo. A win for them today will secure their spot in the quarter finals before their last game against the host, Egypt.

Elsewhere today, Mohammad Salah and his Egyptian side will also want to make it two wins in a row when they tackle DR Congo. If both Uganda and Egypt can get a win in their games today, then it will be all be settled in Group A.

Meanwhile, our attention will be in the crucial match between Nigeria and Guinea today. The match will be played in the Alexandria Stadium in Alexandria by 3:30pm. So, who will carry the day?
