The 2023 census count will soon commence across the states of Nigeria as scheduled by the census commission.
But the viral rumors on the social media outlets has been condemned and peddlers are cautioned to desist forthwith from such act targetted to raise tension.
In a press release made available to our News desk, the National Population Commission through its public directorate has called on Nigerians to ignore such misleading information.
See Original copy of the Press release below:
The commission has reassured their saddled responsibility of giving Nigeria the actual number of population and housing in all the thirty six states of the federation and FCT.
Below is the re-scheduled Time Table for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Training and Field Work:
I. Refresher Training for DQM and Specialized Workforce at State Level: Monday 3rd- 6th April, 2023.
II. Enumerators & Supervisor’s Training: 25th- 30th April, 2023.
2023 Census will not canvas questions on religion affiliation – NPC maintained.
