At least four teams have qualified for this season’s Champions League quarter-finals following the conclusion of this week’s round of 16 second-leg fixtures.
Real Madrid and Manchester City are the latest teams to qualify for the Champions League last-8 after beating Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting Lisbon, respectively.
Real Madrid defeated PSG 3-1, thanks to Karim Benzema’s three goals, while Man City played a 0-0 draw with Sporting but qualified on a 5-0 aggregate win.
However, Bayern Munich and Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday after eliminating RB Salzburg and Inter Milan, respectively.
The remaining Champions League round of 16 second-leg fixtures will take place next week.
Manchester United will host Atletico Madrid, while Ajax will face Benfica.
Juventus will battle Villarreal, and Lille will host Chelsea.
