This has attracted a lot of mixed feelings and thunderous questions from various political, religious, traditional, elite and social camps whose primary interest is to see a good work done in line with the promises of the rebuild Imo government agenda ably peddled by His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha.

9News crew visited this road to confirm the actual position of work done, but met the road in total disrepair.A suveryor who pleaded anonymity hinted the press that CHEC have decided to keep the road on hold pending the fizzling out of the rain.

He however expressed sadness over the delay of work on this road and the way the rain has effected palliative measures put in place to enable free vehicular movement. Though the CHEC official said they are ready to continue the work but to firstly re-study the terrain and the next schedule of work to do.

Eye witnesses met along this road lamented bitterly on the slow pace of work by CHEC and the bad condition the road has destroyed a lot of vehicles and affected businesses in this area.Though Imolites are hopeful that Governor Ihedioha will perform wonderfully better than his predecessor who they said handed over a whole lot of unfinished and quark works to him,Ndi Imo are calling on Governor Ihedioha to focus majorly on Imo roads and put them in solid order.
