The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there have been botched robbery attempts in his residence and other recorded burglary incidents in the Aso Villa, FCT Abuja.
According to the information released on Tuesday by the Official Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari. (SSA, Media & Publicity), Garba Shehu @GarShehu, the Chief of Staff to the president, Professor Ibrahim Gambari confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00 am, Monday morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
The information which was seen by 9News Nigeria Abuja correspondent confirmed also that there was another unsuccessful attempt to break into the house of Maikano Abdullahi at the Administration Office on Thursday last week.
The report said that the police is searching for the suspected burglar who unsuccessfully attempted to break into the house of Maikano Abdullahi, the Administration Office on Thursday, last week.
It was gathered that Maikano lives on the same street with the Chief of Staff, close to the Aso Villa.
The Chief of Staff, Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident citing that security operatives are already poised to fish out the perpetrators of the robbery attempt.
