Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of Christ Embassy, has been described as combining his religious activities with an expanding business empire spanning banking, fintech, healthcare and social media.
The claim was made in a recent account highlighting businesses reportedly linked to Christ Embassy through its Department of Commerce.
According to the account, the church is connected to Parralex Bank, described as a national commercial bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
It further alleged that Christ Embassy branches across Nigeria are encouraged or mandated to maintain accounts with the bank.
The report also identified LoveWorld Medical Center as another business associated with the church.
The facility is described as a healthcare business providing medical services through a modern hospital.
Another platform mentioned is KingsChat, a social media application associated with the LoveWorld organisation.
The account also listed KingsPay, a fintech platform reportedly offering digital payment services.
The businesses, according to the claim, operate through structures connected to the church’s Department of Commerce.
The development has prompted descriptions of Oyakhilome as not only a prominent religious leader but also a businessman with interests across several sectors.
However, the specific ownership structures, financial interests and relationships between Oyakhilome, Christ Embassy and the companies mentioned would require verification from corporate and regulatory records.
The claims have nevertheless drawn attention to the scale of the commercial activities associated with the pastor and his organisation.
