Civil Defence Arrests 3 Suspected Drug Dealers In Lafia

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested three suspected Drug dealers in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

The State Command Spokesperson, DSC Jerry Victor, made this known in a statement issued on Monday in Lafia.

According to him, the suspects were also involved in causing mayhem in Dadin-Kowa, Kurkyo Road along GSS Bukan Sidi area of Lafia metropolis.

He identified the suspects as Ovey Stephen, 24, Yusuf Auwal, 21, and a 17 year-old Musa Ismaila.

Victor explained that the arrest was made possible by an intel provider by the members of the public following increased criminal activities in the areas.

Items recovered from the suspects included over seven bundles of wrapped Cannabis Sativa(Indian Hemp), Nine sticks of Golden Seal cigarettes, one hand made Shisha Pot, made with rubber container.

Others are one sharp single edge knife, three cigar lighter, one dark eye glass and unidentified drugs and substances.
